The cleaning & restoring process is a very careful one, assessing the requirements of the customer individually. A full analysis of the varnish of every violin, viola & cello is made in order to preserve the original beauty of the instrument. Cleaning can range from a very light to intensive, using professional cleaning products for musical instrument restoration.
Instruments are finished with a fine wax, preserving the varnish and producing a beautiful sheen if desired.

Violin Cleaning Restoration
A varnish restoration project in the Ruschil workshop to reveal the inlays of a violin. The dirt of the instrument that had collected over the years was gently removed, revealing the beauty of the purfling.
